Avi Singh
Chief
Born and bred in the beautiful Fiji Islands, Avi has been residing in Hamilton for the last 14 years.
Having worked in the industry since 2009, Avi has gained great expertise. He started in the industry as a TC and worked his way up to being a Regional Manager. Avi is a 2/3 Practising STMS, TTM Mentor and brings a vast knowledge in this industry.
Avi is very passionate about traffic management and holds a very impressive reputation with his clients. Having worked for other lead Traffic management companies, Avi now spearheads Quality Traffic Management Company with a great team or professional and highly skilled staff.
Avi has a strong project knowledge, as he has been part of the Waikato Expressway Project. Avi believes that knowledge will give one power but character will earn respect.
Gemma Muru
General Manager
Gemma entered the Traffic industry in 2018 believing that safety of all road users is of paramount importance. Having lived in Hamilton all her life, she is passionate about road developments and project work in the Waikato. Her passion and dedication is very much reflected in her journey.
Gemma started her role as a TC in 2018, before moving on to being STMS, Operations Supervisor, and BranchManager.
Gemma has worked with leading traffic companies, and her clients describe Gemma as a humble and respectful person.
Gemma joins Quality Traffic Management as General Manager and believes she has the right mind set to be successful in her role.
Prashant
Regional Operations Manager
Prashant migrated from Fiji to New Zealand in 2019, bringing with him a deep passion for roading infrastructure and traffic management. Known for his exceptional people skills, he quickly adapted to his new environment and began building a solid career in the industry.
Prashant has been in the Traffic Management industry for several years and through hard work and dedication, he progressed to the role of Site Traffic Management Supervisor, where he demonstrated excellent operational insight and leadership potential.
Eager to further his career, Prashant accepted a role as an Operations Manager at Quality Traffic Management. In this position, he consistently excelled, earning a reputation as an outstanding supervisor with strong knowledge of project sites and on-the-ground execution.
Today, Prashant serves as a the Regional Operations Manager, where he continues to showcase his leadership strengths. His deep understanding of traffic operations, combined with his ability to manage teams effectively, makes him a key asset in the field of traffic and infrastructure management.
Brandon Dayal
Branch Manager Hamilton
Originally from Fiji, Brandan moved to New Zealand in 2022 with a strong passion for roading infrastructure and traffic management. With excellent people skills and a deep interest in public safety and civil operations, he quickly established himself in the industry.
Brandan began his career in Traffic Management in March 2022 as TTM Worker. Through dedication, hands-on learning, and strong work ethic, he progressed to the role of Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS), where he led his team and ensured safe, compliant worksite operations.
Eager to grow further, Brandan embraced a new challenge as a Health and Safety Supervisor at Quality Traffic Management, where he demonstrated outstanding performance, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk management and site compliance.
Today, Brandan serves as a Branch Manager, leveraging his extensive project knowledge, leadership ability, and commitment to excellence. His journey reflects his drive for continuous improvement and his ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure environments.
Payal lal
Administrator
Payal is a highly organized and results-driven Administrator with over 12 years of experience supporting executive teams, managing office operations, and improving internal systems across diverse industries. Known for exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach, Payal excels at streamlining workflows, overseeing day-to-day administrative functions, and ensuring smooth organizational performance.
With a strong foundation in Microsoft Office Suite and My TTM, Payal brings a balance of technical competence and people skills to every task. Payal has a proven track record in managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records — all while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Payal’s strengths lie in multitasking, problem-solving, and supporting team productivity through clear communication and operational excellence. Whether working independently or as part of a team, Payal consistently contributes to a positive and efficient workplace culture and is the backbone of operation efficiency.
Muhammed
TM Planner and CAR Consultant
Muhammed is an experienced Traffic Management Planner with a strong track record in designing and delivering compliant, efficient, and safety-focused Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) plans across
New Zealand. With several years in the industry, he has worked with key clients including NZTA, local councils, and major contractors, ensuring all plans meet CoPTTM standards and project-specific requirements.
He is highly skilled in using Rapid Plan software for TMP design and has extensive experience managing submissions through platforms like Submitica. His responsibilities include preparing and reviewing TMPs, conducting site audits, assessing traffic impacts, and supporting resource coordination to ensure smooth field operations. Muhammed’s practical knowledge of TTM guidelines allows him to consistently deliver high-quality solutions tailored to each site.
Known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach, Muhammed works closely with clients, Road Controlling Authorities, and internal teams to deliver traffic plans that prioritize both public safetyand operational efficiency
Praneel Sharma
Internal Auditor
Praneel Sharma joined QTM with a strong foundation in Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) and a passion for safety that aligns seamlessly with our core values. Originally from the Fiji Islands, Praneel relocated to Hamilton, New Zealand in 2022 and began his journey in the TTM industry through dedication, on-the-ground learning, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Praneel’s work ethic and leadership qualities quickly stood out. He has served in key roles such as Fleet Supervisor and Operations Supervisor, where he demonstrated a consistent focus on operational excellence and crew wellbeing. His experience across various sites and with diverse clients has reinforced his belief in the principle: “Safety for Everyone.”
In his current role as Internal Auditor, Praneel plays a critical part in upholding QTM’s vision:
“Safety is not compromised at any cost.”
His commitment is clear — to ensure that every worker returns home safely at the end of each day. We’re proud to have Praneel as part of the QTM team, helping to drive a culture where safety, accountability, and integrity are at the forefront.
